Introduction
Focusing changed my life! After years of meditation and personal growth workshops, Focusing showed me how to have a fruitful relationship with my feelings and bodily intuition. I discovered that I too had feelings, that the unwanted ones shifted when I paid attention to them, and that all my feelings were potential sources of fresh energy and inspiration. It's one of the best things I ever learnt to do.
So I have been practicing Focusing for over 20 years and teaching it for nearly as long. I am a founder member of BFA and a Coordinator for the Focusing Institute. I also work as a counsellor and therapist in private practice and in organisations.
BFA Recognised Focusing Teacher and Mentor, Focusing Institute Trainer and Certifying Coordinator
What services do I offer?
I run workshops from the introductory level to ones for experienced focusers, and have a Practitioner Programme and Teacher Training. I also see people for individual sessions: whether to get a taste of Focusing, or to address a particular situation or decision.
And I offer focusing-oriented counselling and therapy, for individuals and couples on a short or long term basis. My original training was in psychosynthesis, I am UKCP registered and have an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, and have been in practice for over 10 years.
