Focusing Institute Focusing Trainer

I have recently retired from managing a small charity which provides counselling for young people. I have been a counsellor for fifteen years. My original orientation was in person-centred psychotherapy and over the years I have been interested in the spiritual aspects of psychotherapy.

I became a Focusing Trainer with the Focusing Institute (New York) in 2003 and have found it to be a most valuable asset to my work with clients, it enables us to get right to the heart of an issue and helps us to move quickly to a resolution. I use it myself, of course, to gain access to my ‘wiser self ‘ and achieve healing and resolution of problems. I also use it with friends and family.

I run a ‘Changes’ group in the Huddersfield/Leeds/Bradford area
