Focusing Circles

A Focusing Circle or "Changes Group" is a place for focusers to meet and exchange focusing and listening turns free of charge. The name "Changes Group" was the name of the peer focusing group in Chicago in the early 1970s when people felt they were "going through changes" and wanted to support one another. The Changes groups which happen in the UK are informal and are evolving to meet local needs. The format varies from group to group. Some groups may require that a person has at least a little experience of focusing before they join the group. Do contact the facilitators mentioned below to find out when the next meeting is planned and how your local group is organised. If focusing experience is a prerequisite then they will be very happy to talk to you some more about how you can learn the first steps of focusing and listening.

South West Focusing Circle
The South West Focusing Circle is a way of contacting other Focusers in the area, to form peer groups and partnerships, which may be short-term and goal specific, or for more general or long-term support. The purpose is to increase your opportunity to Focus and to build a community of Focusers. When you join the South West Focusing Circle, you gain access to a pool of other Focusers. They are a resource. Using the South West Focusing Circle can enormously increase your opportunities to Focus, and expand the creative potential that Focusing has to offer. None of it is compulsory. Join now, in case you need to contact a Focuser in the future. And it's cheap: only a single payment of £5 will give you lifetime membership! Contact Fiona Parr
