Introduction to Focusing and companioning
|Event Start Date:|
16th January 2020
|Event End Date:|
6th February 2020
This 4-week Zoom course, comprising four 2.5 hour seminars, is an opportunity to be introduced to the delights of focusing and listening from the comfort of your own home!
Each group will have a maximum of 5 participants to ensure a cosy, welcoming setting. There will be 3 groups running concurrently on Monday evenings (6 – 8.30pm), Wednesday mornings (10am – 12.30) and Thursday mornings (9am – 11.30am)
The short course provides a friendly environment in which you can learn to listen to yourself and others in a deeply nourishing way, bringing relief from inner conflict and the joy of re-connecting with what it means to be human!
The time we spend together will be largely experiential. It will be a journey of coming home to yourself – time to give precious space and kindly attention to your inner world and current life issues. Each call will include teaching input, focusing time in pairs or triads and a short break.
This introductory course is part 1 of a 6-month, 60 hour, comprehensive foundation in focusing and listening called the BFA Focusing Skills Course. You are welcome to attend the 4-week introduction before deciding whether you would like to commit to the remainder of the training: two further blocks of four Zoom calls and two residential weekend workshops. There will be an online option for those unable to attend the residential weekends.
Please email me for further details. I look forward to hearing from you!
