More

The second BFA Focusing Community Camp will be a further opportunity for Focusers and their family members to get together to Focus, socialise and have some fun in a relaxed outdoor setting.  The camp will be limited to 40 people with the aim of creating a ‘Focusing Tribe’. As well as time for two Focusing sessions each day, the camp will offer opportunities for: workshops, group sharing, yoga, qigong, meditation, walking, playing games, singing, music, dancing, and anything else we co-create as a group. Activities will be mainly outdoors or under canvas and a camp fire will be lit each evening. We also have use of indoor facilities including meeting space, the kitchen and some bedrooms. Our resident cook will be preparing a vegetarian lunch and dinner each day for those opting for the catered option, which will include self-serve breakfast . This will be a peer-led community camp. The organisers have established an infrastructure for the event – but the content of the camp is up to everyone who attends. So bring along your ideas, decoration for the camp site, any useful campsite accessories, and come prepared to help with collecting wood, carrying water, washing up and other campsite jobs. Please let Kay know in advance if you would like to offer a 1-hour Focusing workshop or other activity during the camp. Costs (per person): Camping only—£140 Camping with meals—£190 Shared room with meals—£240 Single room with meals—£290 Child camping only—FREE Child camping with meals— £30/£50 Concessionary places available For booking enquiries contact: Camilla Sim camillasim9@googlemail.com  Bookings will be accepted on completion of a booking form and payment of the full fee. More

What can dreams tell us about our life? How can Focusing help with understanding them? Might there be a way to explore them in a new way that brings clarity and change in our lives? Focusing is all about listening to what the body has to say about our life, but every night something similar happens with our dreams. Something in us (the body/the dream maker) gives us rich, mysterious and powerful symbols, telling us not just about our life situation but how we might carry those situations forward. The dreaming body: Exploring dreams with Focusing: 5 week course begins 17th Oct 7.00-9.15pm
