sandy gee - Focusing Member in south east
I've been a keen focuser for over 20 years and I find that every new approach I learn only further deepens my appreciation of the power, scope and pure radicality of the focusing process. Focusing offers me access to the flow of what’s most true and alive in me and I love to support others finding that inner connection for themselves.
I qualified at MA level in 2008 in Focusing and Experiential Psychotherapy.
I am a Focusing Institute Focusing Trainer.
I have recently trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), which is based partly on the Focusing process (combined with Attachment and Systemic approaches) so I am now additionally offering EFT Couples Therapy and Jointly running 'Hold Me Tight' Couples Courses in Brighton and Hove.
I am excited to have discovered and be in ongoing training in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) which I find is an even deeper use of the focusing process in a fuller relational connection. I now offer one-to-one AEDP therapy.
What I'm Doing Now
- 1:1 Focusing sessions
- Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy
- Teaching and Mentoring of the Focusing process
