BFA Focusing Community Camp 2018
8th August 2018 - 12th August 2018 Cheltenham, West Midlands
Specialist
The second BFA Focusing Community Camp will be a further opportunity for Focusers and their family members to get together to Focus, socialise and have some fun in a relaxed outdoor setting.
The camp will be limited to 40 people with the aim of creating a ‘Focusing Tribe’. As well as time for two Focusing sessions each day, the camp will offer opportunities for: workshops, group sharing, yoga, qigong, meditation, walking, playing games, singing, music, dancing, and anything else we co-create as a group.
Activities will be mainly outdoors or under canvas and a camp fire will be lit each evening. We also have use of indoor facilities including meeting space, the kitchen and some bedrooms. Our resident cook will be preparing a vegetarian lunch and dinner each day for those opting for the catered option, which will include self-serve breakfast .
This will be a peer-led community camp. The organisers have established an infrastructure for the event – but the content of the camp is up to everyone who attends. So bring along your ideas, decoration for the camp site, any useful campsite accessories, and come prepared to help with collecting wood, carrying water, washing up and other campsite jobs. Please let Kay know in advance if you would like to offer a 1-hour Focusing workshop or other activity during the camp.
