My background in Focusing
I understand your desire to listen to your whole self and thrive. But life can be demanding. Stress, mental clutter, and emotional overwhelm pile up—and before we know it, our attention or emotions get hijacked. We’re left feeling trapped, triggered, and exhausted, unable to focus or move forward with clarity.
You deserve support and tools to live a fulfilling life. That’s why I teach Focusing—a transformative inner-awareness practice developed by Eugene Gendlin, Ph.D. With Focusing, you’ll learn how to slow down, develop presence, and access the quiet wisdom of your felt-sense to discover your next right step.
In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, Focusing helps you turn inward—gently, kindly, curiously. It helps regulate the nervous system and build the inner muscles needed for clarity, calm, and grounded resilience—even in the midst of challenge.
For over 13 years, I’ve supported hundreds of individuals in more than 25 countries. I care deeply about emotional and spiritual well-being. I’m a Certified Yoga Teacher and Meditation Instructor, and I’m currently completing my Master’s degree to become a registered psychotherapist, expanding my capacity to support emotional, psychological, spiritual, and existential healing.
Here’s how it works:
1. Start with a free consultation
2. Reconnect with your inner knowing
3. Thrive by embracing meaningful change
By cultivating mind-body awareness, you can experience lasting transformation and move forward in the ways your life needs most.
I am a BFA-recognised Focusing Practitioner, a Professional Member of The International Focusing Institute (TIFI) and the British Focusing Association, and I facilitate workshops through TIFI. I’m preparing to begin a Coordinator-in-Training (CiT) certification with TIFI, which will enable me to certify future Focusing professionals and trainers. Specialising in Inner Relationship Focusing, I have studied BioSpiritual Focusing and Gendlin’s classic 6-Step Focusing. I offer one-to-one sessions and courses–from beginner to advanced–designed to meet you wherever you are on your Focusing journey.

Testimonials
I was experiencing an uncomfortable sensation in my body that would never go away. Focusing was a different approach by tending to it with curiosity. Working with Laura made my nervous system settle down and take a big breath of relief. Laura tailored each session to me. I felt seen, heard and tended to. We were able to find another feeling behind the uncomfortable sensation. It opened up with a solution. Instead of believing the uncomfortable sensation would never go away, I now live with inner knowing, trust and possibility. This skill is a game-changer in life. I highly recommend Laura.

I feel more equipped to be with my body sensation and emotions. I feel more confident and calm when sitting with friends and clients when they share intense feelings.

The layering approach Laura uses to introduce something new week-by-week incrementally inspired and encouraged me. Also, she delights in feedback and provides a safe and supportive space for whatever questions may arise. I started to notice that Focusing is extending out to other areas of my life, even if it is only for brief moments at a time. It's not necessarily me using the phrases I have learnt in class, it's just happening or becoming part of my everyday life.

I loved that I got to practice the skill in a structured way with a partner and discovered new things on my own. Personally, I feel I am now on intimate terms with what's going on in my body and mind.
