Introduction

As well as a Focusing Practitioner, I am an Existential Psychotherapist, registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I work in-person, in Brighton and Hove, and online.

What services do I offer?

I offer one to one guiding and/or teaching sessions.

My background in Focusing

My route into Focusing was subtle and began long before I'd ever heard the name. I remember becoming increasingly aware of my inner process and sense of rightness whilst studying anthropology at university. As my confidence and trust in myself grew, discovering Focusing enabled me to deepen a bodily process that had previously remained largely hidden or squashed. It was a relief to find a fit with a practice that supported my natural inclination to ask questions and explore my own way, rather than blindly follow others'.
A good friend once told me that no one is an expert on how to live. Focusing helps me feel confident in my own unique navigation through life, without resorting to convention, doctrine or cognition alone.
