I am a BFA Certified Focusing Practitioner and a Certified Focusing Professional with The International Focusing Institute.
I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath Certified Practitioner.

What services do I offer?

I integrate Focusing with Somatic Experiencing in my practice, offering an attuned space in which clients can explore challenges and connect with a sense of resilience, wellbeing and empowerment.

I'm passionate about this ‘work’ having seen how it can facilitate deep transformation. It's a privilege for me to accompany others on their journey and to share my knowledge of Focusing and Somatic Experiencing.

I offer 1:1 sessions in person and online and have a particular (but not exclusive) interest in working with clients who are navigating the impact of developmental trauma.

Thankyou for bringing such skilfulness and understanding to our sessions. I am impressed with the profound insights I have had in a short amount of time, and how this knowledge is helping me in daily life. What I keep being struck by is how you are able to create such a supportive and safe space, by meeting everything that I bring with genuine kindness and acceptance. This is such a gift, and I am truly grateful for your guidance.

Saskia holds a very safe and encouraging space, being naturally empathic and highly sensitive, particularly in her understanding of the subtle, yet profound processes that can be facilitated through both Focusing and Somatic Experiencing.

Her compassionate presence and gentle guidance have helped me recognise where old patterns have kept me stuck, and through this work I have experienced an increased sense of my own knowing and my body's capacity for self healing.

This has brought with it a renewed sense of confidence and calm, and
I am very grateful for the space, insight and wisdom that the sessions with Saskia have offered me.

I would warmly recommend her work.

I would highly recommend Somatic Experiencing with Saskia to anyone experiencing difficulties navigating their inner world. The techniques she introduced now make up a vital part of my self-care toolkit.
Her real skill lies in her seemingly effortless embodiment of calm resourcefulness. I immediately recognised in her qualities I wanted to access for myself. This motivated me to stick with the sessions despite my fears.
Gently and tenderly we were able to untangle some of the complex internal dialogue that had been holding me hostage. As the sessions progressed I saw clear examples of how I was able to make new and inspirational choices for myself. Saskia enabled me to find a voice for the parts of me that had previously been subdued by other more dominant narratives.

The work is innovative and cumulative but not linear and required a level of faith in myself that has become the key to unlocking resources that might otherwise have lain dormant.
The time I spent with Saskia has been an investment in myself that has paid infinite dividends. She is a warm and kind practitioner who uses her own experiences to inform her delivery while allowing you the space to discover and communicate what you need most.

Throughout our sessions Saskia created a warm and supportive space for me to trust and feel safe to gently go into a process of 'self investigation' as I worked with deeply held stress and trauma related issues. Not only has this helped me to release some of what was deeply held in my body, but it has given me valuable knowledge and insight of how to deal with any current stresses that arise. I can really recommend Saskia and her work with Somatic experiencing and Focusing.
